Samir is a recent immigrant trying to live the America dream as a small business owner. He occasionally has to work the graveyard shift when his employee doesn’t show up.
We meet a couple of Samir’s customers throughout a typical slow night until he finds himself facing the barrel of a handgun.
An American Veteran, trying to deal with his nightmarish life after returning from Iraq, aims it at him. But when Samir hit’s the panic switch, the two men must wait for the police locked in the store together.
What happens next will question how we view race, our perception of one another and the power of forgiveness.
