The La Costa Film Festival has enjoyed partnering with Ruby G Schulman auditorium as one of our official film festival venues, but now we are even more excited to do so as the auditorium just received a complete reboot.
Ruby G Schulman Auditorium
The already-popular Ruby G Schulman auditorium, located in the Carlsbad City Library complex (which also received a huge upgrade with modernized renovations to the Library), will now offer the latest in new digital technology and audio-visual equipment for presenting public events. The renovations improved overall accessibility, while also enhancing the visibility of its stage. The facility holds 215 seats and welcomes a mix of special events. This year, the festival will be hosting some of our popular panels, such as The Reel Pitch at the auditorium.
A Cultural Staple in the Community
The Ruby S. Schulman auditorium is also fully equipped with high-tech lighting and surround sound speakers, it has become an even better place to catch a concert, listen to a lecture, attend a play, or to come to see one of our many upcoming films or panels.
LCFF events in the Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium are supported in part by the Carlsbad Library & Arts Foundation and the City of Carlsbad. This program is funded in part by a Community Arts Grant from the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office. Come check out the newly remodeled Ruby S. Schulman auditorium during the film festival happening October 13th – 16th.
