October 24 – 27, 2013
The La Costa Film Festival aspires to deliver a new cultural experience to our community, through a greater appreciation of the art of film making. We will showcase the best examples of quality documentaries, feature narratives and thought-provoking shorts. Each will be presented in a variety of exciting local venues, including Carlsbad’s Cinepolis, The The Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium at the Dove Library and the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.
Walk the red carpet at our Opening Night Gala, then watch the premiere screening under a starlit sky on the beautiful grounds of the La Costa Resort and Spa. Throughout the festival, you’ll have multiple opportunities to meet and mingle with filmmakers and learn more about their craft. In addition, we’ll delight you with world renowned local cuisine, local winery releases, and a bevy of award-winning craft brews. Live music, BLISS lights display and the incredible weather and scenery of the resort guarantee an unforgettable event. A special fundraiser event on Friday will complete the experience by raising much needed funds for our local charity, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad.
